Stroll
through the Town Square in the historic district of Dover, where
the original Constitution was read to the public. Browse through
the many boutiques and shops with a turn of the century feel in
the seaside town of Rehoboth Beach. Catch a ball game or enjoy
the theatre in Wilmington.
And
anywhere you drive, you'll marvel at the vast, vistas of farmland
with fresh sweet corn in the summer or delight in seeing hundreds
of acres of soybean turn an amazing gold in the fall. New highways
make major cities easily accessable, but our quieter, gentler
way of living is what attracts most folks.
Of
course, great surroundings are only part of moving to a new locale.
Our property taxes are low, (and yes, we can almost see the folks
from NJ and PA suddenly sit up in front of their monitors!) and
our traffic downstate is nearly nil.
We
have but just three picturesque counties... New Castle to the
north, Kent in the middle and Sussex to the south.
